The Director
Waypoint Design is led by Madison Hames, a specialist in signage design and strategic wayfinding, with over 10 years of experience in the graphic design industry.
Madison has spent the past nine years independently delivering signage solutions and wayfinding design documentation for large-scale architectural projects. She collaborates closely with architects, builders, and project teams to develop clear and practical navigation systems.
Her extensive experience includes contributing to multi-million-dollar projects across complex environments, where clarity of navigation, accessibility, and coordinated documentation are essential for successful project delivery.
Before establishing her independent practice, Madison honed her expertise by working alongside an established signage designer, gaining hands-on experience in signage design development, documentation, and project coordination.
Through this experience, she has developed a strong understanding of how signage integrates with architecture, construction documentation, and operational environments.
Madison’s approach emphasizes delivering signage systems that are clear, thoughtfully considered, and fully coordinated with the built environment, ensuring they function effectively for users while supporting the design intent of the project.
